  • Composition instruction
  • 2-hours of daily music theory/ear-training
  • Compose and perform new compositions
  • Daily “salons” with guest artists
  • Field trips to exciting music locations in the Twin Cities
  • Multiple practice rooms
  • Room and board

Call for Scores

In preparation for our 2017 summer programs, we are formally inviting our students to compose a piece for SATB choir. These pieces should be 2-4 minutes in length and should be submitted electronically to Seth Custer (sacuster@hotmail.com) no later than May 30, 2017.  We are excited to announce that conductor Philip Brunelle and VocalEssence will be our special guest artists. Selected choral works will be read by members of VocalEssence at the 2017 Junior Composers Summer Programs.   Click here for more details.
